What's some tips to help prepare me for my session?
1.) Utilize your Style Guide. It will answer all of your questions and help you plan out your session.
2.) Don't be late. You don't want to lose precious time that we could be taking pictures.
3.) Get creative. Include something in your photo session that shows off your personality and makes photos more personal. (ex. outfits, animals, balloons, confetti, cars, location, etc.)
4.) Be prepared early. Start thinking about outfits and colors a week ahead of time. Lay out everything the night before so you're not stressing to get everything done the day of.
5.) Give yourself some grace. It's okay if the kids or dog doesn't behave perfectly. The beauty in photography is to capture true geniune images.
6.) Have fun with it and don't be afraid to try new poses. The more you feel comfortable, the more you will look comfortable and natural.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Brownsville, Ky and yes I do travel. I have a complimentary 50 miles from my studio. Anything exceeding 50 miles I charge extra for.
How fast is your turnaround time?
I estimate 4-6 weeks from your shoot date.
Do you deliver every image you shoot?
No I take multiple images of the same poses to make sure I get the perfect image. I cull through them images and select the best ones to deliver to you so that you get a perfect gallery.
What happens if it rains on our scheduled shoot day?
If there is a bad storm we will definitely reschedule. If it's lightly showering on and off there is a chance we will go ahead and shoot. Sometimes those random occurrences turn out to be the most beautiful moments.
Do I have rights to the digital prints?
Yes, I send you an Print Release when I deliver the images to you. You can print them as many times as you want, wherever you want. Although I do have a convenient store connected to your gallery where you can purchase prints, canvases, and more.
What if I lose my images?
I will have a copy of your images for up to a year after your shoot date.
How many images do you deliver?
I guarantee 30 images every hour that I shoot. Although I usually include a few more just to serve my clients well.
How can we insure our images wont be lost?
I have multiple ways that I back up your files. I also don't delete any photos off the SD Card until the images are completely edited and delivered to you.
Can I meet with you to make sure we are a good fit?
Of course, we can meet for coffee or over Facetime. I want you to feel like you have made the absolute best choice when choosing your photographer. I am always open to answer any questions or concerns you have.
How will I receive my photos?
Your high resolution images will be delivered via an online gallery with download links.
What do I wear?
I include a complimentary Style Guide in every portrait package I offer. It will answer all your questions from hair and makeup to shoes. It has multiple suggestions for certain styles that look great on camera for men and women. Just remember the most important thing is to wear something your comfortable and confident in.
